MISS NAN has over 35 years experience as a Teacher, Choreographer and Competition Judge with her main focus on Dance Education.
Originally from Pittsburgh PA, Nan was raised by two parents in the dance industry. Her father performed as a dancer and comedian with the USO shows and trained under the Nicklos Brothers, Louis Armstrong and Billie Burke. In her younger years she studied in Gene Kelly’s studio and remains close with the family today. She is Dance Educators of America certified and has received her teaching certificate from Susquehanna University.
Some of Nan’s credits include: Guest choreographer at the Manhattan Repertory Company, Master Classes all over the tri-state area, Sesame Street Live Touring Company, Judge and Choreographer for the Miss America Preliminaries and she was a member of the dance staff at University of Pittsburgh. Nan finds that fostering the love of dance to her students to be her most gratifying accomplishment.
